Verso in Bleistift Jahr. – Botanisches Aquarell von allerhöchster zeichnerischer wie koloristischer Qualität. Sehr schönes Blatt der Künstlerin. – Papier durchgehend gering fleckig. Blattränder rückseitig mit Rahmungsspuren.

Elsa Maria Felsko-Schülke (1908 Berlin - 1987 Berlin). Geborene Elsa Maria Maurischat. Deutsche Blumenmalerin und Botanikerin. Studium Grafik und Design an der Textilfachschule Berlin. Erlernte die botanische Illustration an der Universität Göttingen unter dem Botaniker Robert Pilger. Arbeitete zunächst als botanische Zeichnerin an der Göttinger Universität, später für Robert Pilger am Botanischen Museum in Berlin-Dahlem. Veröffentliche zahlreiche botanische Werke mit ihren Illustrationen. Entwarf auch Stickmuster. Ihre vor allem botanischen, seltener auch zoologischen Darstellungen werden wegen der Detailtreue und der hohen koloristischen Sensibiltät außerordentlich geschätzt.
