Aus: Friedrich Gottlob Hayne, Getreue Darstellung und Beschreibung der in der Arzneykunde gebräuchlichen Gewächse. wie auch solcher, welche mit ihnen verwechselt werden können (Berlin: Selbstverlag 1805-38), Bd. 1-14. – In der Platte rechts unten signiert: "P. Haas sculp." Unterhalb der Darstellung betitelt. – Blatt mit wenigen Stockflecken. Sonst guter Erhaltungszustand.
Peter Haas (1754 Kopenhagen - nach 1809 Berlin). Eigentlich Christian Peter Jonas Haas. Deutscher Kupferstecher. Schüler seines Vaters Jonas Haas. Stach Bildnisse, Ansichten und Buchillustrationen. Fertigte in Berlin eine Folge Kupferstiche mit Darstellungen aus dem Leben Friedrich des Großen, z.B. das Blatt "Friedrichs II. Tod in Sanssouci" von 1786. Zu nennen sind weiter einige Berlin-Veduten sowie seine Mitarbeit an Editionen wie der "Flore portugaise" des Johann Centurius von Hoffmansegg (1809-1840).
